ROBERT F. KENNEDY REMEMBERED… Ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery yesterday honored Robert F. Kennedy 50 years after his death. Civil rights leader and U.S. Congressman John Lewis of Georgia was among speakers at the event. Kennedy’s widow, Ethel Kennedy, was in attendance. Kennedy, a former attorney general who was running for president, was fatally shot at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles after winning the California primary.

MUELLER ASKS WITNESSES FOR PHONES… CNBC reported yesterday that Special counsel Robert Mueller has been asking witnesses to turn over their cellphones so that their encrypted messages can be inspected and investigators can search for conversations they may have had with Trump associates. Mueller reportedly started requesting phones “as early as April.” Mueller’s team believes witnesses have been communicating with Trump associates through encrypted phone apps.

SHAKEUP AT EPA… There was a shakeup at the Environmental Protection Agency yesterday as a top aide to administrator Scott Pruitt resigned. Millan Hupp, who began working with Pruitt while he was Oklahoma Attorney General, announced her departure. Hupp had told associates she had grown tired of getting caught up in all of Pruitt’s recent scandals.

IMMIGRATION RAID NABS 114 IN OHIO… Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers arrested 114 suspected undocumented immigrants as part of a massive roundup at an Ohio gardening business yesterday. Two federal search warrants were executed in the raid of Corso’s Flower and Garden Center locations in Sandusky and Castalia. About 150 Homeland Security Special Agents, U.S. Border Patrol agents and members of the IRS took part in the action.

ARMORED PERSONNEL CARRIER THIEF WAS ON DRUGS… Police revealed yesterday that an Army National Guard officer was on drugs when he allegedly stole an armored personnel carrier from Fort Pickett in Virginia on Tuesday night and led officers on a chase of more than 60 miles. 29-year-old Joshua Philip Yabut was charged with eluding police and unauthorized use of a vehicle. Police chased the APC for about two hours at speeds as high as 40 mph before the driver finally stopped in Richmond.

SPRINGSTEEN TO PERFORM AT TONYS… Bruce Springsteen has agreed to perform at Sunday’s Tony Awards ceremony in New York. Sara Bareilles and Josh Groban are set to host the event which will air on CBS. Springsteen is currently in residence on Broadway.

LAST SURVIVING MUNCHKIN DIES… The last surviving actor to play a Munchkin in the original “Wizard of Oz” film has died. Jerry Maren was 98 and had been suffering from dementia in recent years. Maren was cast as one of the 124 members of the Munchkin Lollipop Guild in the 1939 film and he became known as the “lollipop kid” after handing a lollipop to Dorothy.

NBA FINALS
Golden State 110 – CLEVELAND 102… Kevin Durant poured in 43 points as the Warriors rallied past the Cavaliers to take a 3-0 lead in the NBA Finals. Durant also brought down 13 rebounds. Five other players scored in double figures for Golden State. The series remains in Cleveland for Game 4 tomorrow.

SAN DIEGO 3 – Atlanta 1… Corey Spangenberg tripled home a run in the bottom of the second inning and scored on Manuel Margot’s single as the Padres topped the Braves. Five San Diego pitchers kept Atlanta at bay.

SAN FRANCISCO 5 – Arizona 4 (10 innings)… Brandon Crawford singled home Andrew McCutchen with the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning to complete the Giants’ come-from-behind win over the Diamondbacks. Pinch-hitter Alen Hanson came through with a game-tying two-run homer in the ninth.

PITTSBURGH 11 – L.A. Dodgers 9… Josh Harrison went 2-for-3 with a three-run double as the Pirates outslugged the Dodgers. David Freese and Gregory Polanco both lined two-run doubles.

Colorado 6 – CINCINNATI 3… Ian Desmond homered with a runner aboard as the Rockies downed the Reds. Gerardo Parra and Tony Wolters added two RBIs apiece.

CHI. CUBS 7 – Philadelphia 5… Jayson Heyward unloaded a walkoff grand slam in the bottom of the ninth inning to send the Cubs past the Phillies. Anthony Rizzo hit a solo homer.

Miami 11 – ST. LOUIS 3… Derek Dietrich went 4-for-5 with a two-run homer and three RBIs in the Marlins’ rout of the Cardinals. Lewis Brinson smacked two solo homers.

AL SCORES
N.Y. Yankees 3 – TORONTO 0 (13 innings)… Aaron Judge’s two-run homer in the top of the 13th inning broke a scoreless tie and Giovani Stanton followed with a homer as the Yankees outlasted the Blue Jays.

BOSTON 7 – Detroit 1… Andrew Benintendi and Christian Vazquez each hit solo homers and doubled home a run as the Red Sox ripped the Tigers. Eduardo Rodriguez (7-1) allowed a run on five hits over 5-2/3 innings.

TEXAS 8 – Oakland 2… Bartolo Colon (3-3) held the Athletics to two runs on six hits over five innings on his way to his 243rd career victory, which matched Juan Marichal for the most ever by a pitcher born in the Dominican Republic. Jurickson Profar homered twice, lined a two-run single and finished with five RBIs.

HOUSTON 7 – Seattle 5… Evan Gattis homered with a runner aboard and Yuli Gurriel added a two-run single as the Astros scored four times in the bottom of the seventh inning to put away the Mariners. George Springer and Alex Bregman both had two hits and an RBI.

Chi. White Sox 5 – MINNESOTA 2… Tim Anderson put the White Sox on the board with a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning and lined a two-run single and scored during a four-run sixth. Hector Santiago (2-2) held the Twins to two runs on six hits over five innings.

L.A. ANGELS 4 – Kansas City 3… The Angels got homers from Ian Kinsler and Justin Upton in downing the Royals. Zack Cozart had a couple of hits and an RBI.

INTERLEAGUE SCORES
WASHINGTON 11 – Tampa Bay 2… The Nationals used a 15-hit attack to pound the Rays. Anthony Rendon went 4-for-5 with three RBIs and four runs scored. Michael Taylor had three hits and three RBIs.

Baltimore 1 – N.Y. METS 0... Manny Machado’s sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning scored pinch-runner Craig Gentry with the game’s only run as the Orioles edged the Mets to complete a sweep of the series. Dylan Bundy (4-7) pitched three-hit ball over seven innings.

CLEVELAND 3 – Milwaukee 1… The Indians came up with all three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and held on to beat the Brewers. Carlos Carrasco (7-4) held the Milwaukee to a run on eight hits over seven innings.
