ANNAPOLIS DEATH TOLL AT FIVE… The death toll remains at five after a gunman opened fire at the Capital Gazette’s newsroom in Annapolis, Maryland, yesterday. Police called the shooting a “targeted attack” on the newspaper office and identified the suspect as 38-year-old Jarrod Ramos. Grudge appears to be a motive, as Ramos lost a defamation suit he filed against the newspaper in 2012. Authorities said the suspect had made social media threats directed at the newspaper and “looked for his victims” after he entered the building with smoke grenades and a shotgun.
