WHISTLEBLOWER AGREES TO TESTIFY… House intelligence committee chairman Adam Schiff said yesterday that the person who filed a complaint about a phone call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has agreed to testify before a congressional committee. During an appearance on ABC News “This Week,” Schiff said the whistleblower’s lawyers were assured that their client’s identity would be protected during the testimony. The testimony will be scheduled as soon as the director of National Intelligence can complete the security clearance process, Schiff said. Meanwhile, “60 Minutes” reported last night that the whistleblower “is is under federal protection — because he or she fears for their safety.”

GIULIANI SAYS HE’LL COOPERATE WITH INQUIRY… President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani says he would cooperate with the House’s impeachment inquiry if Trump gives him permission to do so. Giuliani reportedly led the effort to pressure Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden and his son. Ukraine’s top prosecutor, meanwhile, says there is no evidence of any wrongdoing by either Biden.

FBI INVESTIGATING PRINCE ANDREW’S EPSTEIN TIES… The FBI is reportedly looking into Prince Andrew’s ties to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein. Investigators are interviewing potential sex trafficking victims who could provide more information. About 100 alleged victims, 80 of whom have already been identified, will be interviewed over the next two months.

MANHUNT FOR ESCAPED INMATES… Authorities have launched a manhunt for four inmates who escaped a county jail in Gallipolis, Ohio, early yesterday. The escapees reportedly overpowered two female corrections officers and forced open a secured door. The four are considered “extremely dangerous,” authorities said. One of the four was spotted at a convenience store in Westmoreland County Pennsylvania.

‘HISTORIC WINTER STORM’ BLASTS NORTHERN ROCKIES… The National Weather Service is calling the northern Rockies’ first big snowstorm of the season a “historic winter storm.” Montana Governor Steve Bullock has issued an executive order declaring a winter storm emergency. Warnings and advisories were in effect for parts of the northern Rockies, Cascades and Sierra Nevada early yesterday as snow continued to fall.

POST MALONE REMAINS ATOP ALBUM CHART… Post Malone’s “Hollywood’s Bleeding” sold 149,000 units to top the Billboard 200 chart for the third straight week. Zac Brown Band’s “The Owl” opened in second place with 106,000 copies sold. Blink-182’s new release, “Nine,” opened in third place after selling 94,000 units. Taylor Swift’s “Lover” slipped to fourth place with 65,000 copies sold. Young Thug’s “So Much Fun” finished fifth on sales of 45,000 units.

WEEKEND BOX OFFICE… “Abominable” took in $20.8 million to debut atop the weekend box office. Last week’s champ, “Downtown Abbey,” slipped to second place with $14.5 million. ”Hustlers” jumped two spots to No. 3 after bringing in $11.4 million. “It” Chapter Two” remained in fourth place with $10.4 million. “Ad Astra” capped the top five with $10.1 million.

BASEBALL’S REGULAR SEASON ENDS… It took until yesterday’s final day of the season to complete major league baseball’s postseason picture. The lone undetermined race was in the National League, where St. Louis locked down the Central Division title with a 9-0 bombing of the Cubs. Second-place Milwaukee, which fell to Colorado 4-3 in 13 innings, will open the postseason tomorrow by visiting Washington in the NL wild-card game. The AL postseason opens Wednesday in Oakland, where the Athletics host Tampa Bay… The winner of tomorrow’s NL wild-card game will visit the L.A. Dodgers on Thursday to open NLDS play. St. Louis visits Atlanta the same day in the other NLDS matchup. The winner of tomorrow’s AL wild-card game travels to Houston to open ALDS play on Friday. Also on Friday, the N.Y. Yankees host Minnesota in the other ALDS series.

Tennessee 24 – ATLANTA 10… Marcus Mariota found A.J. Brown with two of his three first-half touchdown passes as the Titans (2-2) downed the Falcons (1-3). Defensively, Tennessee made three fourth-down stops.

New England 16 – BUFFALO 10… The Patriots (4-0) took advantage of four turnovers in holding off the Bills (3-1). Matthew Slater returned a blocked punt 11 yards for a touchdown.

Kansas City 34 – DETROIT 30… Darrel Williams’ second touchdown run of the fourth quarter came with 23 seconds remaining and lifted the Chiefs (4-0) over the Lions (2-1). Patrick Mahomes passed for 315 yards.

OAKLAND 31 – Indianapolis 24… Erik Harris returned an interception 30 yards for a fourth-quarter touchdown to seal the Raiders’ (2-2) win over the Colts (2-2). Derek Carr connected with Foster Moreau and Tyrell Williams on scoring tosses.

L.A. Chargers 30 – MIAMI 10… Philip Rivers completed 24 of 30 passes for 310 yards and two touchdowns as the Chargers (2-2) downed the Dolphins (0-4). The franchise had gone 30 years without a win in Miami.

N.Y. GIANTS 24 – Washington 3… Wayne Gallman caught a 6-yard touchdown pass and ran 1 yard for another score as the Giants (2-2) pounded the Redskins (0-4). Jabril Peppers returned an interception 32 yards for a touchdown.

Cleveland 40 – BALTIMORE 25… Nick Chubb ran for 165 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Browns (2-2) past the Ravens (2-2). Baker Mayfield passed for 342 yards and a score.

Carolina 16 – Indianapolis 10… The Panthers (2-2) rode their defense to a win over the Texans (2-2). Christian McCaffrey rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown and had 10 catches for 86 yards.

Tampa Bay 55 – L.A. RAMS 40… Jameis Winston threw for 385 yards and hit Chris Godwin with two of his four touchdown passes as the Buccaneers (2-2) outscored the Rams (3-1). Ndamukong Suh returned a Jared Goff fumble 37 yards for a score with 1:07 remaining to clinch the victory.

Seattle 27 – ARIZONA 10… The Seahawks (3-1) built a 20-3 halftime lead and coasted past the Cardinals (0-3-1). Russell Wilson passed for 240 yards and a touchdown. Chris Carson rushed for 104 yards. Jadeveon Clowney returned an interception 27 yards for a score.

CHICAGO 16 – Minnesota 6… The Bears (3-1) fought their way past the Vikings (2-2) after losing starting quarterback Mitchell Trubisky with a shoulder injury on the opening possession. Replacement Chase Daniel threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Tarik Cohen. Eddie Pineiro booted three field goals to 38 yards.

Jacksonville 26 – Denver 24… Josh Lambo’s 33-yard field goal as time expired lifted the Jaguars (2-2) over the Broncos (0-4). Gardner Minshew II passed for two touchdowns. Leonard Fournette rushed for a career-high 225 yards.

NEW ORLEANS 12 – Dallas 10… Wil Lutz booted his fourth field goal of the game from 26 yards out early in the fourth quarter and the Saints (3-1) held on to beat the Cowboys (3-1).

Cincinnati (0-3) is at Pittsburgh (0-3)
